RESONĀTE is a venture-backed startup creating the future of meditation by combining traditional techniques with modern neuroscience to make the benefits of meditation effortless.

Challenge
Science has been proving what yogis have been practicing for centuries: meditation and mindful breathing have a positive affect on our minds and bodies. These practices reduce stress, improve sleep, and increase resilience, just to name a few.
However, a simple practice is not necessarily an easy one. RESONĀTE combines modern neuroscience with ancient practices to make the benefits of meditation effortless.
I was tapped to take Product at RESONĀTE from concept to consumer. After digging in to understand all elements of the system — from the vibration chair, spatial sound, and light goggles, to the mobile app and internal systems — I worked with leadership to develop RESONĀTE’s product strategy including a go-to-market plan centered on B2B partnerships as the company prepared to manufacture at scale.
Approach
To understand the inner workings of our prototypes, I tested the system endlessly and spent time with audio, hardware, and software engineers as well as our industrial designer. I learned about technical concepts I often took for granted (like wifi and bluetooth connectivity) and worked cross functionally with geographically distributed teams to document my findings and create single sources of truth for every component of the RESONĀTE system.
After simultaneously collaborating with leadership to outline business goals and conducting user research to map out personas and user journeys, I defined requirements for early adopter units to be delivered to global brands and a hand selected cohort of A-list wellbeing influencers.
I helped hire our founding team, defined our near term and long term product roadmap, established rituals, set documentation standards, and led product, engineering, and design teams in achieving our ambitious milestones.
I prioritized the roadmap, ran sprints, and met weekly with hardware, manufacturing, marketing, content, and operations teams.
I managed high profile partnerships and was personally responsible for overseeing installations, conducting on site ambassador trainings, and creating troubleshooting guides.
RESONĀTE successfully launched at Equinox Hamptons and as a result we were invited to install at two additional flagship locations in NYC.
Staying focused on creating a user centered connected immersive experience, I identified and implemented strategies to move the needle on key company KPIs.
I overhauled the website, spearheaded redesign of the iOS app, took the system from wired to wireless, enabled over-the-air updates, upgraded the onboarding flow, and launched a kiosk mode version of the experience especially designed for B2B partners.

Launched pilot with Accor Hotels
Increased sessions/wk 43%, boosted conversions 4x, and grew retention 12% week over week
